When a rug has been selected, Direct Rug Import will deliver the rug to your location - free of charge.

Antique/Collectable

When a potential rug has been selected, Direct Rug Import employees will place the rug in the desired area for final viewing, even before purchase. Employees will rearrange furniture in order to accommodate rug placement within the room at no extra charge.

Decorative

If a customer is having difficulty deciding on a rug, Direct Rug Import will bring selected rugs and place them within the selected room in order to assist with selecting the perfect area rug for each customer.

Tapestry

It is rare to find a rug store taht does true expert cleaning of your area rug. There is no use of steam or harmful chemicals to clearn your earea rug, just old fasion techniques. Here is an overview of the cleaning process. First, your rug is placed in a machine that shakes out all the sand a debris. Next, it is placed in a large tank of water and scraped by hand, including the fringe. Extreme care is taken in removing stains so that no harm comes to the rug. Lastly, the rug is hung in an up-right position (to eliminate creasing or deformation) in the drying room, a room with no windows to eliminate sunlight fading, for approximately three days to completely dry.
